Estimated time: 7–10 days. After submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its relevance to the aims and scope of JEIERT, basic formatting, originality, ethical compliance, and overall suitability for peer review.

Peer Review

Estimated time: 4–6 weeks. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are normally sent to at least two independent subject experts under the journal's double-blind peer review process. The review duration may vary depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and subject area.

Revision by Authors

Typical time provided: 2–3 weeks. Where revisions are required, authors are requested to carefully address the reviewers' and editor's comments and submit a revised manuscript together with a point-by-point response. Additional review rounds may be required depending on the extent of the revisions.

Final Editorial Decision

After consideration of the reviewers' reports, author revisions, and editorial assessment, the Editor communicates the final decision. The decision may be acceptance, further revision, or rejection.
