Commitment to Academic Integrity
At the Journal of Emerging Intelligent Engineering Research and Technology (JEIERT), we are committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, research ethics, and responsible scholarly publishing. We are committed to:
- Ensuring originality: All submitted manuscripts are expected to present original work. Submissions are screened for plagiarism and inappropriate duplication using appropriate similarity-checking tools.
- Transparent peer review: JEIERT follows a double-blind peer review process to promote fairness, objectivity, confidentiality, and impartial evaluation of submitted manuscripts.
- Adhering to ethical guidelines: The journal expects authors, reviewers, and editors to follow recognized principles of publication ethics and maintain high ethical standards throughout the publication process.
- Responsible authorship: Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. Ghost authorship, honorary authorship, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of research misconduct are not acceptable.
- Conflict of interest disclosure: Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose any financial, professional, personal, or other interests that could potentially influence the research, review, or publication process.
- Research integrity: Authors are expected to report research methods, data, results, and conclusions accurately and transparently. Research involving human participants, animals, or other activities requiring ethical approval should comply with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical requirements.
- Responsible use of sources: Authors must appropriately acknowledge and cite the work, ideas, data, figures, and other materials obtained from previously published sources.
- Correction of the scholarly record: Where significant errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, JEIERT may take appropriate action, including issuing corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions, as applicable.
JEIERT is committed to promoting trustworthy, transparent, and responsible research across engineering, technology, and applied sciences while protecting the integrity of the scholarly record.
