Ethical Guidelines & Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Emerging Intelligent Engineering Research and Technology (JEIERT) is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, publication ethics, and responsible research practices. Authors submitting manuscripts to JEIERT are expected to follow the ethical guidelines outlined below.
Originality
All manuscripts submitted to JEIERT must represent original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality and authenticity of the submitted research.
Exclusivity
A manuscript submitted to JEIERT must not be simultaneously submitted to or under review by another journal, conference, or publication venue. Authors should wait for the final editorial decision before submitting the same work elsewhere.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could potentially influence the research, peer-review process, interpretation of results, or editorial decision.
Plagiarism & Research Misconduct
JEIERT does not accept plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate manipulation of data or images, duplicate publication, or other forms of research misconduct. Manuscripts may be screened using appropriate similarity-detection tools. Submissions found to violate the journal's ethical standards may be rejected or subjected to appropriate editorial action.
Authorship & Contributions
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, interpretation, or preparation of the research. All listed authors should approve the final manuscript and accept responsibility for their contribution.
Data Integrity & Reporting
Authors must report methods, experimental procedures, data, results, and conclusions accurately and transparently. Data should not be fabricated, falsified, selectively manipulated, or misrepresented. Sufficient information should be provided to enable appropriate scientific evaluation of the work.
Ethical Approval
Research involving human participants, animals, clinical data, biological materials, or other activities requiring ethical oversight must comply with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical requirements. Appropriate approval and consent information should be provided where applicable.
Proper Citation & Acknowledgement
Authors must appropriately acknowledge and cite all sources, ideas, methods, data, figures, and previously published material used in their work. Direct copying, unattributed paraphrasing, or misuse of another person's intellectual contribution is not acceptable.
Corrections & Retractions
If significant errors, ethical concerns, or research-integrity issues are identified after publication, JEIERT may take appropriate action, including issuing corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions, depending on the nature and severity of the issue.
JEIERT is committed to protecting the integrity of the scholarly record and expects authors, reviewers, editors, and all other contributors to uphold responsible and ethical research and publication practices.
