Policies
The Journal of Emerging Intelligent Engineering Research and Technology (JEIERT) is committed to transparent, fair, ethical, and rigorous editorial practices. The following policies govern manuscript submission, peer review, publication, and post-publication procedures.
JEIERT currently does not charge authors any Article Processing Charge for submission, peer review, or publication of accepted manuscripts.
The editorial team checks the manuscript for relevance to the aims and scope of JEIERT, completeness, basic presentation quality, and compliance with submission requirements.
Manuscripts may be screened using appropriate similarity-detection tools to identify plagiarism, excessive textual overlap, duplicate publication, or related concerns.
Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to reviewers with appropriate expertise in the relevant engineering, technology, computer science, or applied-science discipline.
JEIERT follows a double-blind peer review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to support impartial evaluation.
Based on reviewer recommendations and editorial assessment, the manuscript may receive one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
Revised manuscripts are evaluated to determine whether reviewer comments have been adequately addressed and whether the manuscript satisfies the journal's scientific, technical, ethical, and presentation standards.
Accepted manuscripts proceed to production, formatting, proofreading, and online publication in accordance with the journal's publication workflow.
JEIERT may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction when significant problems are identified in a published article. Such action may be considered in cases including:
- Fabrication or falsification of data or results
- Plagiarism or substantial unattributed duplication
- Duplicate or redundant publication
- Serious ethical or legal concerns
- Major errors that invalidate the findings or conclusions
- Significant authorship or publication-integrity violations
Authors are encouraged to make research data, experimental details, source code, supplementary material, or related resources available where appropriate to support transparency and reproducibility.
A Data Availability Statement should be included where applicable and should indicate:
- Where the supporting data or materials can be accessed
- Whether data are available from a public repository
- Whether data are available from the corresponding author on reasonable request
- If data cannot be shared, the reason for the restriction
Authors may use artificial intelligence tools for limited assistance such as language improvement, grammar correction, readability, or formatting support. However, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scholarly content of the manuscript.
- AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors.
- Authors remain responsible for all text, data, analyses, citations, and conclusions.
- Fabricated references, data, images, or results generated using AI are not acceptable.
- Substantial use of generative AI should be disclosed where relevant.
- Confidential unpublished manuscripts should not be uploaded to external AI systems without appropriate authorization.
JEIERT is committed to supporting the long-term preservation and accessibility of published scholarly content.
Published articles may be preserved or archived through appropriate mechanisms such as:
- Institutional repositories
- Author-maintained academic repositories
- Journal-managed archives
- National or subject-specific repositories
- Third-party scholarly archiving services, where applicable
Specific external archiving services should only be listed on this page after formal participation or coverage has been confirmed.
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, academic, personal, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research, review, or editorial decision.
Disclose relevant funding sources, institutional relationships, financial interests, affiliations, or competing interests.
Declare any relationship with the authors, institutions, research groups, or subject matter that may affect impartiality.
Editors should recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a significant conflict of interest exists.
Disclosed conflicts will be evaluated by the editorial team and managed appropriately before a publication decision is made.
- Submitted manuscripts must be original and appropriately cited.
- Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is not permitted.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and inappropriate image manipulation are prohibited.
- All listed authors should have made genuine scholarly contributions.
- Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and funding sources.
- Ethical approval and informed consent must be reported where applicable.
- Suspected misconduct may result in investigation, rejection, correction, or retraction.
JEIERT periodically reviews its editorial and publication policies to maintain responsible scholarly publishing practices and to support the integrity, transparency, and credibility of published research.
